To Infinity and Beyond

Go on an intergalactic hunt for riches in the Alien Hunter slot game from Playtech. Meet alien creatures and strange beings as you roam outer space hunting them for their treasure that you take back to earth. This 5-reel slot takes you into the world of Star Trek, Alien, and The Jetsons, without the peril and more fun.

Alien Hunter

Captain of the Ship

In Alien Hunter you are the moustachioed but nameless captain of the spaceship. From your cockpit, take control of 5 reels and a maximum of 25 pay lines. The graphics are fairly basic, but the illustrations are colourful and fun. If you like to play with sounds/music, you’ll enjoy the space-y sounding audio.

There are various alien symbols, and these have a higher value than the regular playing card symbols from 10 through to ace. There’s also a spaceship scatter, an alien egg, and the captain in his spacesuit. The caged alien acts as a wild.

All of the controls are arranged dashboard fashion under the reels. It’s all reminiscent of retro sci-fi that will resonate with fans of this genre. Unlike in slots such as Alchemist’s Lab where the paytable is permanently displayed on the screen, the Alien Hunter paytable is on a separate screen, mainly because there is a multitude of ways to win that need to be illustrated. All winning combinations are made up of 3 or more identical symbols.

Play the Game

Playing the game is easy. Use the buttons on the dashboard to set your stake and choose how many lines you want to play.  If you’re new to 5-reel slots, try a demo game before you make a deposit to play Alien Hunter for cash. The demo game enables you to familiarise yourself with the way the game plays and how easy it is to adjust your stake and lines played.

It’s Bonus Time

There are three different bonus games in the Alien Hunter slot game.

Free spins are won when the spaceship scatter appears three, four, or five times anywhere on the five reels. They correspond to five, ten, and twenty-five free spins, respectively.  No multiplier is in play, but the free spins can be re-triggered if three, four, or five spaceship scatters appear.

If the alien egg lands on reels one and five in the same spin, it’s time to collect some eggs. In the Egg Bonus, you collect eggs of various prize values and multipliers avoiding the Head Jumper alien. When he appears the bonus round is over.

If you land three spacemen symbols on an active payline on reels two, three, and four, the Spaceman Bonus is triggered. You then have two choices: The Skill game and the Luck Game. In the skill game, you click on six aliens within fifteen seconds to win cash prizes. Each coloured alien has a different prize value. The luck game is the same but there is no time limit. Experience has shown that the skill game tends to award a bigger final prize total.

Progressive Jackpot

Those familiar with Playtech’s 5-reel games will know of the Dollar Ball Progressive Jackpot. This plays in conjunction with the main game. To play, click “enable”. Your stake is slightly increased, but it enters you into a lottery-style game with a lottery-size prize fund. You pick five numbers between 1 to 49 and with each spin, a new draw takes place. If you picked the same five numbers that are drawn, you win the jackpot. Match four numbers and you win one per cent of the jackpot.

If you want a game with decent payments and generous ways to earn bonuses, play Alien Hunter. Captain, you have the bridge!
